STREWTH: A motorcyclist in India has been killed after he was deliberately set on fire following a road traffic altercation with a car full of men, reports today's India Times.
Reports say the biker, Pawan Kumar, was chased along country roads by a car containing several men, before being set ablaze and left to die. Villagers raced to his rescue after hearing the man's screams.
In his statement to police, Kumar said he had sped after realising he was being pursued, but the car caught up with him near Garhi Bindhroli village. “Four occupants got down and doused me in petrol before setting fire,” he said.
Kumar was taken to a local hospital, where he died later the same day.
