That's been out for about 9 months, hardly breaking news Visordown!

this might be a stupid question, but how do the wheels spin?

I've not studied it but presumed it was just Hondas version of the Sbarro Osmos wheel

Sbarro was doing vehicles with them more than 20 years ago - I guess the patent might have expired now - so Honda can nick someone else's idea without paying for it.

cool, makes sense now.

What's going on with the front? They've tried to hard to integrate the front wheel into the fairing...looks weird.

Other than that, I hope that's what electic bikes eventually look like, but with non-metal tyres and some form of suspension.

non-metal tyres. lol.

unless they resurface all the roads on corten steel and we can get hover bikes.

That red Sbarro looks like a two-wheeled tin-opener.

It was the 80's.     Although I think I thought it looked pretty gash even back then.

Oh, I don't know. If you can get past the blood colour it's a bit like modern hyperbikes. The Sbarro wheels would look mint in a futuristic cruiser, though! Especially with a V4 heart...

That's class FJS. Although I meant futuristic, not retro. Manga style, you know? Like those photoshop numbers that turn up every now and then in the comic...

Honda may not have invented fugly...but seem determined to take the concept to new heights.

A former affectionado, I now don't give a stuff about anything Honda.

Foisting "dedicated honda-only showrooms" on their dealers.

Incrediblly high prices on spares.

Bluntly, some really stupid designs.

These days I like Ducati/Suziki/Yamaha and Triumph, particularly the first and last.

I would like MV Augusta too, but I can't afford one.

I don't want to diss Honda's engineers, but the marketing/sales organisation seems to have caused the company gestalt to loose the plot.

Oh.. I admire the sheer practical honesty of the Chinese Cub & CG clones though.

As i was thinking about purchasing one I called Bennetts once for a quote on insurance for an MV Augusta. Couldn’t get the bloke on the other end to stop laughing long enough to give me the quote.

Bit of a daft bike really. They're only worth having when you or somebody else is actually looking at it...which isn't all that often really. Unless you spend a lot of time cleaning and not much time riding.

Can't believe I missed this at the time. Love it , although 'Big Red' had a huge back wheel in the anime- love it even more.
