HONDA HAS announced it is still going to be bringing out one more new model this year, but only in India.
Following the footsteps of Yamaha and Suzuki, Honda has said that it would be putting superbikes into the expanding market, too.
"We will launch two models in superbike category with 800cc to 1000cc engines in this fiscal year. Apart from this, we will also bring a new model in the mass market category before March next year," HMSI General Manager Marketing N K Rattan said.
The bike builder said it is considering launching its CBR1000RR in India and another bike which which will be above 800cc. However, Rattan declined to give further details.
Suzuki has recently launched its legendary Hayabusa and Intruder M1800 and Yamaha is now selling the R1 and MT01.
Imagine that - a Fireblade on India's roads. Rather them than me.
