THE MAN behind the all-new Honda VFR1200F has said the company are keen to target the new V4 sports-tourer at the Chinese motorcycle market.
Speaking to a press conference in Japan, Mr Kyoichi Yoshii, Chief Engineer, Product Development Division, Honda R&D, said the bike would be targeted at Europe, followed by the US, Japan and then China.
“China is one big, important market for the VFR1200F,” Mr Yoshii.
The Honda bigwig went on to explain the company's home market (Japan) is at saturation point for large capacity machines, therefore the Honda must push its new products into new, more challenging markets, China being one of the main targets.
