Harley recalls 111,569 machines

Fuel tank mounts force mass H-D recall

111,569 of 'em. Imagine the paperwork...

AS IF Harley-Davidson hadn't got enough on their plate (see here) the company has issued a recall on its 2009 & 2010 touring line models - all 111,569 of them.

Harley have recalled models made between June 6, 2008, and Nov. 19, 2009, over fuel tank mounts on models listed below.

We spoke with Harley's UK Press Office this morning over the recall but they couldn't confirm if it affected UK machines.

We'll keep you posted.

Can someone tell me why that thing has a car dashboard attached to it?? Should recall them and replace them with Suzuki intruders!! At least they look nice...
