Hairy Bikers to star at Festival of Culture

Comedy duo to meet fans, sign autographs and cook

THE HAIRY Bikers are set to make an appearance at the Furness International Festival of Culture this summer.

Dave Myers and Geordie Simon King, are set to put on live cookery shows the thousand of spectators that turn up to the festival, which runs August 1st - 3rd.

Cumbria County Council neighbourhood development officer, Alison Meadows, said: “It is hoped that this three-day event will draw visitors from all over north west England. It will be held in the town centre in the front of the town hall.

“The festival will feature continental and local multi-cultural markets, street entertainers, national and international performers with live cookery demonstrations by the Hairy Bikers and a penultimate evening concert performance by a chart-topping solo star with a grand finale firework display."

I've watched a couple of thier show's and found them interesting, but they should include subtitle's for most of what they say. I'ts a strange muffled language they speak ,and almost inpossible to interpret for the uninitiated.
