Great British Bake Off host gets Ninja H2

Paul Hollywood become one of the first UK motorcyclists to own Kawasaki’s supercharged Ninja

PAUL Hollywood, co-host of TV’s The Great British Bake Off, has become one of the first motorcyclists in the UK to take delivery of a supercharged Kawasaki Ninja H2.

Hollywood said: ‘I was at The Good Food Show at Birmingham’s NEC at the same time that Motorcycle Live was taking place in the other halls. It’s an annual pilgrimage for bikers and being a confirmed petrol head myself I just had to have a look around.

‘Kawasaki had the track only version of my machine on a rolling road and its sheer presence - and the unique sound it made - convinced me there and then to put my name down for the road going version.

‘It was air-shipped from Japan along with a small batch of other enthusiast’s bikes and was the very first machine to be delivered in the UK. I am looking forward to the rush of owning and riding what is already considered to be a piece of biking history.’

The news was revealed by Kawasaki in a press release which said: ‘Popular co-host of The Great British Bake Off, Paul Hollywood, has taken delivery of a state-of-the-art supercharged superbike.

‘The high performance 1000cc Ninja H2 is one of a strictly limited number of machines created by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki for enthusiasts and collectors from across the globe.

‘With its integrated Supercharger, unique mirror coated black paint finish, the gleaming Kawasaki is the ultimate high performance two-wheeler and a “must have” for Paul from the day he first encountered the much talked about new model.’
