Mamola...not a world champion but still bloody quick


FORMER 500cc world champions Alex Criville, Wayne Gardner and Kevin Schwantz got the chance to ride 2007's MotoGP bikes at Valencia recently.

They were joined by former Grand Prix racer turned commentator, Randy Mamola, for a few laps of Valencia as an end of season treat.

It makes you wonder what they thought of today's machinery, with traction control, slipper clutches and mile-wide powerbands.

They don't make 'em like they use to...
