Driver flees from scene following fatal smash
TWO MOTORCYCLISTS and their pillion passengers have been killed after a car ploughed into a group of bikers on a desert highway in California.Seven motorcycles were involved in the smash, which also claimed the life of a passenger in a car.Two male motorcyclists and two female passengers died at the scene after a car attempting to overtake the group forced another vehicle to swerve into the pack of bikers. Police say the driver fled the scene without stopping.The identities of the dead and injured were not released.

You got it just about right John, we call it rolling roadblocks around here and its very common for cruiser riders to go slow and hold up traffic creating stupid unsafe passes. The guy that lost control of his car and went head on with the bikes was drunk and the guy in the Honda civic that did the unsafe pass ran and hasnt been found yet. The area that this happened is very close to the mexican border and the Dodge with the drunk that hit the bikes had mexican plates if that tells you anything.
