CAN'T AFFORD a Desmosedici RR but want something that looks just as good? Then this 'Monstersedici' may be the answer to your prayers.

The bike's been built by french motorcycle enthusiast French Bruno Rolo, by transforming a humble Ducati Monster into a MotoGP look-a-like for the road.

We salute Bruno's attempt at recreating a budget version of Ducati's £40,000 machine. Would you be able to tell the difference between this and the real thing if it whizzed past you in the street?

yeah i would, the brakes and forks are completely wrong for a start, then so are the wheels, the exhaust etc etc

jesus mate give the bloke a brake,i think it looks fantastic and if he sold this kit he'd be a very rich man. some come on give him a bit of respect for what he's done.

i think i would be able to tell the diff

but i also think it is a bloody good attempt and if they were to make the kit for general sale would probably sell a few.

anyone for a nice monster desmo inspired track bike?

Give the lad some credit as it's cracking effort. Maybe not while parked up but most people would mistake it for the real thing if travelling past them at speed in the opposite direction.

I'd be fooled, and to be honest how many anoraks would check the forks when the bike is coming the other way, the exhausts might do but then i'd question whether i did see it right or not?

Great effort and if i wasn't dyed in the wool KTM fan i'd consider it.
