The new V-max will retail for just under £10,000

YOU'RE LOOKING at the first official image of Yamaha's all-new 2009 V-Max.

The machine, which is due to go on sale later this year, is believed to be powered by an all-new fuel-injected 1800cc V4, capable of producing up to 210bhp from its 4 x 450cc pistons.

A monstrous cast aluminium chassis, coupled with decent quality suspension front and rear, should mean the new V-Max will handle far better than its boat-like predecessor.

The bike is due to make its offcial appearance on 4th June. Insider sources have revealed to Visordown that the new machine will retail for just under £10,000.

Not keen at all, I like the old V-max but the new one doesn't know what it wants to be, it looks like a cruiser thats mated with a streetfighter that wants to be a sportsbike.
