Police report lists rider error, not speed as the cause of fatal accident which left one bike cop dead
DALLAS police say a motorcycle officer who died while escorting Hillary Clinton's motorcade crashed because he couldn't negotiate a bend.
The final police report on the February 22 crash that killed Victor Lozada Tirado was released on Friday. The report says that Tirado's motorcycle clipped a kerb and hit a guard rail while the 49-year-old was escorting the Democratic presidential candidate's motorcade to a campaign appearance.
Speed was not listed as a factor.
