VIDEO FOOTAGE of an accident in which a 44-year-old motorcyclist was killed has been shown at Douglas courthouse.
A verdict of accidental death was recorded on Neil Edge from Stoke-on-Trent, who died in a collision with another motorbike at Hailwoods Rise on the Mountain Road during TT week last year.
The other bike was being ridden by Russell Williams and the inquest heard both men were thrown from their machines and onto a grass verge.
Evidence showed Mr Williams had no recollection of what happened and, seven months after the accident, was not in a fit state to attend court.
Eight witness statements were read out, mainly from bikers and TT fans, one of whom was filming at the side of the road.
