BBC TOP Gear's Richard Hammond was among the last few journalists to interview Evel Knievel and his one-off special will be shown on Christmas Day. The show will go out on BBC2, Christmas Day at 8pm. Hammond spent a week holding several interviews with the King of the Stuntmen and the show will touch on the life, thrills and spills of the world's most iconic stuntman.
There's a few touching moments in the footage, especially where Hammond and Knievel visit the stars headstone, which he commissioned when he knew his days were numbered.
Beats omnibus Eastenders anyday.
