Enduro Africa: 'Royal presence has spoiled fun'

Riders on the 100-mile trip complain of tight security around Prince William and Harry

SOME OF the riders taking part in the 100-mile Enduro Africa adventure have complained the presence of Princes William and Harry have marred their enjoyment of the trip.

Speaking to a number of South African journalists, some riders admitted that although they felt honoured to be riding amongst royalty, their trip-of-a-lifetime had ben ruined because of the tight security surrounding the princes.

“I was hoping my family could track our trip on the Internet but this became impossible when it was decided we would not be told exactly where we were going each day,” a disappointed Scottish biker explained.

The remainder of the 1000-mile route is now being kept secret from the 100-strong party for fear of terrorism threats to the royals.
