Motorevue's take on Ducati's 1098 Streetfighter

DUCATI HAVE announced they'll be releasing a naked version of the company's 1098 Superbike on Monday 3rd November at 7pm UK time.

Ducati boss Gabriele Del Torchio pretty much gave the game away a few months ago when he hinted the company may produce a naked superbike.

The image above is by Oberdan Bezzi, a freelance designer who predicts what future bikes could look like. French mag Motorevue reckon this is close to what the actual new musclebike will look like.

Would be a bit uncomfortable if you got your nuts caught in the gap between the seat and the tank.
