New 848s ready for testing

Rubens Xaus...may have to nail his hat on later

Morning All. Jon Urry here, reporting in from Almeria, Spain at the World Press Launch of Ducati's new 848.

I've just arrived at the circuit and been greeted by this sight, about twenty 848 lined up. How cool does that look? The weather's dry, the track's looking good and I can't wait to try Ducati's latest sportsbike offering.

For those that don't know, the 848's 20kg lighter than the 749 and has 26bhp more at a claimed 134bhp. I'll let you know in about an hour a first impression of what it's like.

Ruben Xaus is also here, offering advice and will be coming out on track later. That should be something...

We're riding in the next couple of hours, so keep an eye on visordown/news for an update.
