David Knight pulls out of Weston

US commitments force off-road ace to retire entry

DAVID KNIGHT, the double world enduro champion from the Isle of Man,has pulled out of the Weston Beach Race, writes Roger Willis of Dealer News.

Red Bull KTM works riderKnight won the event last year, beating ten-times world MX champStefan Everts, and was favourite to win Weston again but has withdrawn his entry because of his US GNCC racing commitments. The final round of the prestigious GNCC series -- in which Knight currently has a 21-point lead -- is set to take place just one week after Weston.
