EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE female racer Maria Costello almost missed grabbing her MBE at Buckingham Palace earlier today after getting stuck in London's rush hour traffic
The high profile female racer took to two wheels, party frock an all, to get to Buckingham Palace on time. Costello, a favourite at the Isle of Man TT circuit, said afterwards: "We got stuck in traffic so my friend who works for Virgin taxi bikes took me."
When the Prince of Wales jokingly asked her if she arrived by motorbike, Maria replied:
"Funnily enough, I did!"
