The books, on my desk, today

VISORDOWN has 5 copies of Barry: The Story of Motorcycling Legend to give away. The book has just been released and is available for £18.99.

Barry is the remarkable story of Barry Sheene, the asthmatic, cheeky cockney boy who grew up to become a sporting legend. He won the British motorcycling 125cc championship aged just twenty and twice became World Champion in the 500cc class, despite two life-threatening crashes, both of which he overcame with great courage and determination.

In an era when sport and its personalities rarely made it off the back pages of newspapers, Barry Sheene crossed the bridge between sport and celebrity status in a style that only George Best had previously achieved.

To be in with a chance of winning, just send a private message, by clicking this link with the answer to the question below in the title of your message. You'll need to be a registered user to enter.

In what year did Barry retire from motorcycle racing?

We're going to announce the winners here, on Friday at 1pm. Good luck!
