THE WORLD record for the world's most expensive motorcycle could be broken this weekend when the supercharged Vincent Black Lightning, built to break the world speed record in 1950, goes under the hammer at Bonhams' Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show sale in Stafford.

Experts expect the Vincent to fetch in the region of £280,000 when it goes up for auction at the world-renowned sale.

The current record of £250,000 is held by a 1915 Cyclone.
