Check out this 2008 Repsol Honda Fireblade

It looks exactly like a MotoGP bike. Just pop a couple of drops of vinegar onto your eyes first.

2008 Repsol Honda Fireblade - Visordown Motorcycle News Nothing is certain but death and taxes ... and an official Honda Repsol Fireblade. Probably.

HONDA'S new 2008 Honda Fireblade hasn't won over many critics in the styling department and some road testers have said the engine is harder work to ride than previous models. All-in-all, not the feedback Honda would have wanted. However, there's nothing a decent paint-job can't fix and that's exactly what an Italian motorcycle dealer has gone and done with this stock 2008 Fireblade.

We've had no news yet from Honda as to whether they'll be importing official Repsol paintjobs - you can bet they will - but if you can't wait for Honda to make their mind up, this should provide plenty of inspiration for you.

God, that is grotesque. Convincing proof that gilding a turd is just as unproductive as polishing one.

Hi Alan! <waves>

I am normally a fan of decent paint jobs. And I love fireblades. But that is not pretty.

Apparently the race paint is lighter, so it will go faster..

Posted: 02/04/2008 at 22:25

Oaky

Race pace is about more than simply going faster.

The black and white scheme looks nice.

I've never seen a repsol painted road bike I liked.

I just don't get race paint on road bikes. Why would you want to ride a bike with sponsors logo's over it and not get paid for the free advertising. I've never seen one that I like.

God the Fireblade has turned Ugly. Once upon a time it was a good looking bike. As for the Repsol colours, never have liked them at all.
