British bike fan spends £500,000 on choppers

Machines from 'American Chopper' coming to UK

A WEALTHY BRITISH motorcycle enthusiast has bought a collection of motorcycles made famous by the hit TV show American Chopper.

Alan Hardcastle, director of international bike firm LIA Imports, splashed out over £500,000 bikes featured on Discovery Channel's American Chopper series.

Alan said: "It's something just to look at these machines, let alone ride them."
