The ultimate trackday missile? This would set you back almost seventy grand

IT'S not unusual for manufacturers to support racers by offering discounted prices on new bikes and spare parts. However, for 2012, Suzuki are offering that bit more.

You can now get yourself a GSX-R1000 handbuilt to Superstock or Superbike specification by the TAS Suzuki British Superbike team.

The starting price for a Superbike-spec GSX-R1000 is £66,000. If you want your GSX-R1000 built to Superstock 1000 spec, then the price is a more wallet-friendly £16,575.

If 600s are your thing, then you could have TAS build you a Superstock-spec GSX-R600 for £15,880 or a Supersport-spec GSX-R600 for £31,125.

The offer is open to anyone with an ACU licence
