BMW HP2-800S ... concept coupld become reality

COULD THIS be the next incarnation of BMW's parallel-twin 800?

Industrial designer Roberto Redaelli has sketched this concept, which lends on BMW's principles used for the HP range, including the HP2 Sport.

The F800 range currently includes the F800GS and more recently the BMW F800R. The HP2 800S concept would use the same engine, delivering around 90bhp and weighing in at 175kg. The HP2 800S would use a lightweight aluminium frame and carbon-fibre bodywork.

We're not sure about the FJ1200-esque front-fairing, but it's an interesting concept which could become reality. Afterall, no-one saw the original HP2 Sport coming...
