Let's all pray for cold weather on Sunday 13th

A MOTORCYCLIST is to run this year's London Marathon dressed in full bike leathers.

Mike Taylor, 35, is doing the sweaty stunt to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity which supported his mother when she underwent treatment for breast cancer several years ago.

When asked what sort of response he gets from his outfit when he's out on a training run, Mr Taylor said: "I get some funny looks from most people."

Good luck with the run Mike, but please, don't stick your leathers on eBay afterwards.

I am running the London Marathon as well in aid of the Terrance Higgins Trust, i shall be in shorts and a vest though, i shall keep a look out for our motorcyclist friend as he has my full respect, he definately deserves more than a medal for what he is doing, maybe two magazine could give him some new tyres for his bike as a show of support

what are tyres going to help him run, will he have sliks or full wets and what psi does he have to have?and going round corners will he get his knee down.... oh i don't like running,i can't do 26 meters let alone do 26. what ever miles, so a big up to those who are doing it.

Top man. I hope he wins it. I did a 4.4 miles charity run in my Dainese suit and Shark RSR2 helmet. I gave up after 2 miles. I couldn't breath, couldn't move my legs and I was carrying an extra 10 kg.  I did the London Marathon in 2006 and it was hard enough in running kit.

Didn't the last guy to try this end up in the back of a ambulance on a drip?

Where's the helmet?! I did it in a one piece leather suit (with armour) and a full face helmet, check it out here: www.nearlythere.co.nz
