THIEVES have stolen a motorbike that was left at the side of the road whilst the owner was in hospital receiving treatment.
A silver CCM, with the numberplate HY03 EUD, was left at the Mill Pond roundabout in Wildridings after the accident on Thursday evening, which took place around 5pm. The rider was taken to hospital by a family member for a fractured hand and injured legs.
The CCM was secured with a disc-lock for collection later on, but it was stolen from the roadside between 5:30pm and 7pm.
PC Michael Foot, of Bracknell police station, told getbracknell.co.uk: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence.
“This is an extremely busy roundabout, and it is more than likely that this bike would have been placed onto a vehicle of some sort and taken away, so someone must have seen this theft take place.”
