MEMBERS OF the public foiled a smash and grab robbery yesterday after motorbike-riding masked robbers broke their way into an exclusive jewellery store on Kensington High Street.

Bystanders watched in horror as five thieves smashed their way into Ernest Jones jewellers, stealing Rolex watches worth several thousands of pounds in the process.

As the thieves tried to leave the scene, members of the public pounced, knocking one rider from his red Triumph Street Triple before pinning him to the ground.

Three more of the thieves were rounded up by police after the force arrived on the scene, however, one man is still be hunted down by Met cops.

Red Speed Triple you say? Is Andy in the office today?

The-Duke
No he wasn't...however it would need a fair few members of the public to pin him down though.

Gen!

When I viewed this story it came with an advert in the top of the screen for a triumph street triple - colour red! Anyone else get the same? That's some freaky advertising from Triumph right there.

Tag line 'Performance, agility, attitude. all standard" - right on! Wonder if the thiefs saw the same add and decided it would make a good get away bike?
