THE FUTURE OF Italian motorcycle manufacturer Moto Morini is still uncertain after trade union representatives turned down a buyout plan from Paolo Berlusconi (brother of the Italian Prime Minister) at a meeting yesterday.
Last month, Visordown reported the news that Berlusconi had offered 2.5 million euros to purchase the Moto Morini name, including the company's assets but news from Italy this morning reports the Italian's propsed three-year business plan has been turned down and no agreement has been reached.
It's expected Berlusconi will make another offer in the coming weeks, but for now the future of Morini remains in the balance.
