What I want to know is; if there has only been one fatality on the A322, as you approach the A30 from Bracknell, in 10 years (which was at the tail end of rush-hour on a weekday) why do they keep sending "safety" camera cars there during the day?
And what's more, having recently had the misfortune of driving through the camera infested misery that is Nottingham (2010 population of 306,700), why does it report 131 deaths whilst a few miles down the M1 the near-identically sized Leicester (2010 population of 306,600) reports only 97 deaths whilst not sucking all the joy and basic freedom out of life by sticking a "safety" camera on every lamppost?
By-Jove, I think they have been lying to us all along about these cash-cows {sorry} "safety" cameras...
