AUSTRALIAN DAREDEVIL Cam Sinclair's attempt at a motorcycle double backflip ended in disappointment, as the young Aussie splashed into Sydney Harbour.
Cam launched his 250cc dirtbike over 30 feet into the air but despite getting a good start on the ramp, the Australian could only manage 1.5 revolutions.
As he emerged from the waters of Sydney Harbour with a "throbbing headache" and the wind knocked out of him, motorcycle stuntman Cam Sinclair declared he would repeat his world-first jump.
"I'll have another go," a wet Sinclair told reporters immediately after the jump.
The backdrop of Sydney Opera House was a fitting scene for Cam's wacky stunt - the Opera House's designer, Joern Utzon, died last week, aged 90.
Cam's bike, which was hauled out of the harbour by a crane, will be repaired and take pride of place in his home.
