Police appealing for information after the theft and torching of a motorcycle

The Fireblade was completely destroyed

HARROGATE police are appealing for any information relating to the theft and torching of a Honda Fireblade on Saturday night.

The Fireblade was stolen on Saturday 21st July  at 12:15am from a locked garage. Three men were seen pushing the motorcycle and the only description is that they wore hooded tops and hats, one of the men was 6ft tall and slim and another in the group was shorter at 5ft 6.

Police were called by the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service at 5am after the report of the motorcycle on fire.

PC Simon Pape said: "If you have any information about the men responsible for this theft or saw the motorcycle being set on fire I urge you to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away."

The thieves also stole a black Kona Haole road racing bike, which has yet to be located.

somebody crashed theirs and stripped it for parts.
