A NINETY-THREE year-old driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after he was involved in a crash that killed a 65-year-old motorcyclist.
Jeffrey Bennett, of Stanley Road, Lymington, Hampshire, was in a crash with a car near the Filly Inn at Setley, New Forest, on Wednesday. Mr Bennett suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
A 93-year-old man from Boldre was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.
The deceased was enjoying the first day of his retirement, when he was involved in the fatal collision.
Hampshire Police are keen to trace a number of people who stopped at the scene.
