2009 Visordown Survey - win £1000 worth of gear

We're giving away £1000 worth of biking gear. It's your chance to shape the future of Visordown by taking part in our annual survey

VISORDOWN is constantly evolving and that's all thanks to you.

Each year we run a survey to find out about your biking habits, the ways you use the web and what you look for in magazines so we can shape Visordown to ensure it offers more of what you want and less of what you don't.

Sounds simple, but we couldn't do it without you, so please take 5 minutes out of your day to fill out our survey. One lucky reader will win £1,000 worth of biking gear, including leathers, gloves, boots and a lid. And we'll also be giving away DVDs to 10 other Visordown entrants.

To take part in the survey please click this link: www.visordown.com/thesurvey/

Thanks in advance, Ben

I'm a biker who only has the one machine, it gets me to work and it does my weekends too, it's nothing special to look at but to me it is all I have and so is special in that respect. I look after it the best I can with the limited resources and time I've got, service it myself etc. What I really need (and I'm guessing quite a few others need too) is a cheaper alternative to 'shop' prices as sometimes there are things that need doing that I dont have the tools for or the tech know-how for, like valve clearance checks, carbs setting up etc. I do not earn a great deal of money and cannot afford to be spending huge sums on my machine, so I was thinking ... If there are any good bike mech's around who will do the work for a reasonable price then why not create a database so that we poor people can look them up and put some cash their way?

Cheers

Hugh.
