First registered by Honda UK in 2002. Does a better example exist? We think not.

Have you got a spare hundred grand floating about in your bank account? Thought so. Well, why not invest it in the oddball Honda NR750. This example, owned by Honda UK, was first registered in 2002 and has just 1360 miles on the clock.

Can't wait? You can buy it from Classic Rice Burners

such an ugly bike, the only nice thing about it was the carbon used in the body work and the technology used in the engine

Ian Evans

It's not ugly at all! For it's time it was stunning and the fact that it became the basis for the design of the iconic 916 is proof.

The only aspect of the styling that I do not like are the arched, carbon-pipes from the air in-takes.

Othewise a timeless classic, it will not age as it was never fashionable.

Fascinating technology - that didn't work in the racer - so why should it work on the road ?

Oh - mind you - it has only managed to do 1,360 miles hasn't it ?

VisorDown magazine (back when it was TWO) I think, did a test of Niall's NR vs. the Desmo, and Jon Cantile I think said he preferred the NR, as it had more emotion when riding it than even the Desmo!

I know that the 916 copied styling elements, but imo its not the elements by themselves that made the 916 so pretty it was the execution, and Honda didn't really have that w/ the NR, its a bit slab sided and awkward looking imo.

That being said, its an absolute corker of a bike and I'd love to have one, even if only for a piece of biking history from the original V4 manufacturer.

I rode this very bike on trade plates before it got registered....

Truly awesome and rates up there with riding the factory RC45.

Way ahead of its time in engineering and style.

Proper Bike Porn

Right up there with the super cars of the age.

I'd love one were it not for the shocking price

You're right, ugly as poop.

I'd but it if it wasn't so ugly.

Who wants to be stuck riding that silly looking, super fast, high performance, legendary, rare, inovative, iconic, historical, superbike anyway.   I'd much rather look like everyone else out there in a Gixxer or Ninja.
