UNLESS you've been living under a rock, you'll have noticed that it's snowing across much of Britain.

And while many of us have banished our bikes to the garage, there's some brave (/foolhardy) bikers ploughing on (literally).

Like this SV650 rider - the lone user of an arguably unpassable road.

It's snow joke this weather. Be careful out there!!

I ride all year round and in most weather but don't do snow and ice any more. When i first started riding I had a CB200 and was too stupid to realise that riding in snow was dangerous so I used to do the 17 mile commute to work every day without thinking about it. That was across Bodmin moor which pioneered today's "no public transport" thing decades before most of the rest of the country. One year the Police closed the A30 because of very snow by parking a Police car right across the road in Bodmin,I knew the town so went around the backstreets to get out of town and on to the main road to get the 5 miles to my parent's place. Very memorable ride, virgin snow and a clear night so an awesome view over the Moors. I was riding an RD400 at the time, very easy to ride and torquey for 2 stroke but I kept it well away from the powerband on that ride. My Dad went ballistic when I turned up on the bike in that weather. Good days. I've ridden home in snow before with one foor on the nearest pavement most of the way home more than once.
