suzuki bandit clutch "clicking"

Hi - on my bandit 600 the clutch is correctly adjusted and is working fine on a run out tonight. however. at stand still with engine off pulling the clutch in makes a fairly loud metalic click from the area of the left hand engine casing - what could this be - sounds nasty and hasnt made is noise before?? any clues?

Have a look under the sprocket cover at the clutch throw-out worm no. 18

Might be loose or just need cleaning and re-greasing, they catch a lot of crap from the chain fling.

Could even be the sprocket cover is loose.

2003 SUZUKI GSXR 600 under the sproicit cover it is leaking oil. I think it is coming out of the part #23 how can I fix this?

Typically:

Remove the front sprocket cover

Remove the clutch lifter & clutch push rod.

Remove the front sprocket (likely to be on VERY tight, it's best done with a rattle gun / impact driver [used correctly])

Remove the retaining plate that retains the output shaft oil seal

Decide which seal is actually knackered and remove it. Often this is just by levering the seal out, sometimes it's easier to drive a couple of small self-tapping screws into the seal and pull it out with those.

Drive the new seal in ABSOLUTELY SQUARE.

Reassemble.

Have a beer.
