Hmmm, needs to be more anal.

How about:

I have a Suzuki GSX1100F, YOM1987 i have no service info for this bike as I live in Fiji(south Pacific) I would appreciate being directed to someone or location that I could communicate with that may be able to assist me.

I would point out that we do not have facilities for bike servicing here as in most countries

I am a qualified mechanic,  have a number of questions to ask, some very basic like type of spark plugs and plug gap, some like the fuel lines under the tank connections as I suspect the current setup may be wrong, would appreacite a schematic if possible for the fuel line connections Tank to carbs.

Also note that some off the balance ports on the carbs are not plugged off, on my CBR 600 these are stopped (sealed) when not being used balance the carbs.

Part of my concern is the high fuel consumption for this bike and the fact that it is not running very well.

 Would appreciate any assistance offered.

hi there

I have a kawasaki ZX12r with a cut out problem while riding and tickover,it feels like a fuel problem, when it cuts out and i try to start it,the pump does not prime, but if i leave it for a few minutes and try to start it,the pump primes and bike starts, then once the bike warms up for a few minutes,it cuts out again. i have changed the pump relay but problem still exists, could it be the pump or the throttle sensor??

I need help ! After the demise of Dock gate 20 Southampton, I have nowhere to get my bike MOT and serviced. I have a Screaming Eagle exhaust which was not a problem when Harley were dealing with it, but it has got ' not for road use' stamped on it. I've tried to 'polish' it off, to no avail. It's not excessively loud. Where can I go?

I have acquired a Honda SFX 50 for my son (51 Plate) which has been standing for over 3 years. All the oil from the reservoir has drained into the cylinder and crank case causing the engine to hydraulic when you try to turn it over with the spark plug in place. I have removed the spark plug and managed to get the oil out of the cylinder and the engine will turn over with no spark plug, but due to the oil in the crank case as soon as I refit the spark plug it locks up again. Is there any method of draining the oil from the crank case?

Hi: recently aquired a Kawasaki GPZ 400F2 C3: Rode it home (heathrow) from southampton OK> I know it could do with a new timing chain but has now developed a noise when on the move I cant identify. Start engine, no problem, select gear, no problem, move off and as soon as revs hit 4000 there is a constant sound like metal on metal, does not vary with change of speed or revs, Gearbox is fine and running gear all appears ok. any ideas?
