Hi all, sorry for the minor hijack but does anyone know if Clio CV joints are available seperately? Mrs H has just told me about a slight knocking noise when going round roundabouts and it's MoT time soon. I had a quick look on Euro Car Parts but they don't list the CV joint on it's own, only the complete driveshaft.

BTW, it's a 1993 1.2.

Cheers

Sorry, also complete driveshaft.
No listing on euro as it cannot be removed from shaft

Hi

I have a 206 which has an awful knocking noise when i turn right or left, it only seems to happen when i have been driving a while, but I can feel it on the steering and on the pedals..

what could it be?  Could i t be the power steering?

I had a new driveshaft and cv joints done a few months ago - getting really frustrated and concerned...

drive shaft.

on fords the cv joint can be replaced (inboard or outboard) but on french crap its all one piece.

most of the others sound the same problem.

It could be the lower wishbone bushes.

Hi All,

1998 106 1.5d, had new driveshafts fitted and within 2 days, bearings are really loose, one bearing was renewed the week before.  is there a minor difference in driveshafts where the wrong ones could give this symptom or could it be bearings gone?

Thanks,

Bill.
