Hi

Not got a C90 manual handy, but have an early CBR600 one floating round. That quotes the clearance at 0.01mm~0.05mm, or about half what you are quoting at least. However a liquid cooled engine will run tighter clearances than an air cooled C90, but you should still be able to get the piston in place.

However pistons are not round. As the metal in different places varies in thickness, and the more metal there is the more it will expand with head the clearance will vary depending on where you measure it. On the CBR the clearance is measure on the piston skirt, 10mm from the bottom and at 90 degrees to the gudgeon pin bore.

All the best

Keith
