Hi,

I'd like to introduce 2 new rear paddock stand designs. A design that has a bar through hollow rear axles, a design that bolts to the bobbin holes. Easiest to see on videos.

That's a neat improvement on the standard paddock stand. Good creative thinking.

Thanks I chanced upon the design trying to make a simpler Abba stand when a vertically challenged lady motorcyclist friend had problems with paddock stands.

By the way wonder if you are related to my wife from your name.

I could well be a relation. It's a fine name, much mocked but it goes back quite a bit.Is your wife's name Fanny by any chance?

You could show a pic of your wife using the paddock stand, thus getting more customers.

Looks good but most of my bikes have no bobbin mounts ,what i really need is a better designed universal front stand ,one that doesn't impact the fairing .

Hi Bim,

I've never used a front stand, use a hoist to get the front wheel off the ground, what front stand were you thinking of ? A parking stand, under the forks or under the steering head ?

Simpler than an abba stand? I don't get it. They are not exactly complex. And they are unbeatable for supporting the bike if you need to remove both wheels at once.

Ripsaw doesn't get it. Oh well, nothing new.

Ropesaw, you are clearly feeling paranoid. I wouldn't follow your posts at any price - you've got nothing interesting to say. Don't be annoyed at this - it's meant to help.
