Most of you all ready know this I assume, but in the past I've found some automotive supply and race shops carry stuff that can be used for your bike.

So far, I've got spark plugs (had to be ordered) Goodrich lines and fittings, bulbs, fuses, cable ties and lots of other stuff that you don't even think of until you start looking around.

Next on the list is K&N air filters. There has to be an automotive K&N that will fit, especially as cars and bikes have gone to the flat rectangular type.

btw K&N and some other companies refuse to sell motorcycle stuff to car places. I assume it's to protect the bike shops.

Another place I've found helpful for brackets and some fasteners is Home Depot, it's a large chain of home improvement stores. Just a stroll around one of their huge stores will give you ideas on stuff.

For example, soft panniers. I want to make a couple of "guards/side mounts for both bikes, so the panniers will actually be carried and held out from the side of the bike. Home Depot carries heavy duty wire type, shelf pieces that can be cut, then shoot them matt black and weld on a couple of brackets to connect to the footpeg mount and subframe.....voila

Fiamm 108 decibel horn for the equivalent of 13 pounds at an automotive supply shop. I still want a Cadillac horn though. Sounds and is almost as loud as a Train horn
