GSXR 750 .....

Hey,

I picked up my k7 suzuki GSXR 750 last Friday....And have had a grin on my face since!

There is no fuel gauge on the clocks, only a low fuel warning light I think.  How many miles should I get from a full tank on adverage speed limit?  Even a rough idea?

I fill her up the day I collected it, and after doing 110 miles I topped her up again, though the fuel light hadnt come on or anything, I was just afraid to drive futher incase I ran out of petrol.

A manual didnt come with it either, so any other tips or advice on the bike would be great please!

All the best,

Sean.

I picked one up the other day too. Reserve light flashes on with 3 litres to go and then is on constant with 1 litre left. So you could do an easy 25 miles before having to push...

This new R1 is shite at MPG, even running in it's averaging 28 - 29 mpg.

90 miles till the fuel light goes on.

Thanks lads, thats not bad news for me at all.  It means a fill up once a week for me with the miles I do in and out to work...Nice one!

Easy way to find out, fill your tank, zero your counter, do a few trips to work, 80 miles or so, fill it back up, work out your mpg and then you'll know how many miles you can approximately get from a tank. Given you know your tank size
