ER5/GPZ500 top yoke

interchangeable?

Looking for a way to get renthal style bars on stripped down gpz.  The stock handlebar mounts on the GPZ dont make it easy and I was wondering if anyone knew if the topyoke from an ER5 would fit?  These bikes share alot of common parts but I'm not sure how far.

I just tryed this on my GPZ and the ER5 top yoke was just mm from fitting so i suppose if you get a little bit grinded off they will fit erfectly .
