engine dies

Im having trouble with my 200, it will start 1'st time and run great but as soon as you put it in gear the engine dies? Iv tried allsorts but no luck.
Some help and advise would be great.

Wot bike??, has it got a sidestand cutout switch?, if so sounds like the switch and/or wiring is playing up, clean it all up with WD40.

yep, if it's clutch in, into gear, then it dies it's prolly summat to do with the sidestand cut out IMO.
drinking is not the answer, but it may help you forget the question :burp:

Does it lurch when you put it into gear? If so, then the clutch may be stuck. Put it in gear, pull in the clutch and rock the bike backwards and forwards to free it off.
If it just cuts out then I agree with the others - it's the neutral/stand lockout circuit. Is the neutral light working OK?
