basically - i have the friction plate ceramic material stuck to the stainless steel pressure plates. how would you remove this?
seriously (and don't laugh!!) i've tried sticking them in the dishwasher as heard people stick parts in there and they do a good job, however they didn't do a great deal to these except 'soften' the material a bit. so what sould i use? what corrodes cermic material but doesn't affect steel?
