The front brake is spongy and has very little bite. I have blead it to death and the end result is just the same.
Of course I want the front brake to be better. But what is the best route to take.
Should I get a master and caliper seal kit or replace the lot with another disc/caliper combo that would do a better job.
I heard the CX500 disc/caliper will fit. Is it worthwhile?
The front disc on my old CB250RS was fine when in good fettle - I'd just get a master cylinder overhaul kit and a caliper seal (and possibly piston) kit, and a braided hose. All available from your local independent shop or from somewhere like M&P at less than the cost of a CX500 caliper & disc which'll probably need an overhaul kit anyway.
You will be way better off getting new calipar seals and master cylinder overhaul kit as this will make the brake like new and last so much longer if done properly. Aswell braided lines make a masive difference!!
hope this helps
