Just wondering why spike cant ride his abortion at trackdays, i think using box section is a revolution in bike engineering, balls to the chromolly!

Beer, bikes and girlies woohoo!

i'd love to know as well .. so would everyone else who has seen it, infact using the exact words from most of them who have seen and ridden it 'well hes a tosser then isn't he, theres nowt wrong with it'

Because the organisers have a duty of care not to let anything they deem unsafe onto the track. It'd be their arse on the line not yours.

Oh and you happen to have pissed one of them off so no chance

because....having watched the thing created, I'm not prepared to risk MY insurance, the goodwill of the track owners and risk a potential accident IF it folds up around him...
Simple as....

IF he hadn't been such a fuckwit and actually told the truth some of the time regarding it's legality and few other things then maybe some kind of engineering certificate would have sufficed...
as it is ANYTHING he produces just wont be believed....after all it's had 7 MOT's been taxed AND insured at least three times....

and finally....

COS I fooking say so...

I can see superbmotards point of view....
They have to pay liability insurance so its at their discretion what they allow on track.. no one cares if you hurt yourself but why should someone else be in the firing line if your bike breaks?
Spike...I've said god knows how many times that I like your bike..in theory, and I also admire your spirit in building it but I looked at your pics where your have the frame laid out in your living room and there is a fairly clear pic of your drill holes for the front spars ..up until seeing that I would happily of ridden your bike...
The stresses on a bike on a track are far greater than normal road riding.........
Then again, you don't do much in the way of building bridges with the Superbmotard guys

I'm not arsed to be entirely honest, alex seems a sound bloke but funbags just seems to be an utter cock to be honest, i have been asked to go to many many trackdays, i am not really that bothered, its miles away and its run by a tosser, i dont really want to go there anymore, i know of two local tracks that do SM days which are within riding distance so im not bothered.

Really, which tracks are those then (genuinely interested) and tbh, it doesnt have to be a motard day to go on a trackday...Croft is not far from you, brilliant track but very fast....but you need a full bike licence or race licence and your bike will be scrutineered

Funners did the right thing. Last thing anyone needs is a 60hp Raleigh Chipper (with the throttle jammed wide open because the cable is at 90 degrees to the carb) T boning someone on a bend.

You did well to shoehorn that engine in there and get it running but from what I saw, there are some dangerous design flaws that are just waiting to land you (or someone else) in A&E.

Don't take the piss - Gripfill is massively under-rated as an automotive adhesive.
