Can any of you old hands on here say what bike the USD forks with this original brake fitting come from?

www.visordown.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=79496&stc=1&d=1166113724

The caliper bracket fixing bolt centres are 40 mm apart.

I was told it was a 1999 Honda CR250 but this may just be completely wrong!

Thanks, Patrick

Thought yam used kayaba?

The forks on my WR weren't anything like the Showas I've seen on CRFs, anyway.

Also didn't look like the one in that pic, nor does the pic look owt like the WP stuff on my KTM....

So it could well be a showa fork from a CR of some description.... couldn't say for sure though.

ok ccm's and vor's (paioli forks) and ohlins mx forks use 40mm centres caliper mounting so it wont be a honda

i have said bracket to fit a brembo caliper if you need one.

mark.

Phew! Thye're certainly Honda - just learned they're most likely 1989 CR250 - first with USDs.

Thanks for the offer of a Brembo bracket - sounds tasty!

From my pic does it look like its two mounting bolts would be in the correct postition? They're not symmetrical with the axle centre and the lower caliper slide-pin. Any chance of a good pic so I can scale them?

Thanks, Patrick

Not yet - but the post is fairly hopeless round here, and everything usually takes a day or two longer than it would if you send it anywhere else.

Don't tell me you've done something hilariously original like putting a return address on the back from a clap clinic or summat.

Don't be daft..I've seen yer, there's no way a postie would believe you'd had a shag
