I wouldn't go on a bike without one!

Always wore one, personally think it did a decent job in my crash. I still suffered broken ribs from a book I had in my rucksack but think it could have been worse without the backprotector on. When i get a new bike I'll be buying one straight away

PS don't wear a rucksack on a bike. I did cos I was worried about scuffing the body work on the bike Cost me a very painful 2 months

ME ME ME .... have breakdanced down the street infront of my suddenly stationary bike only to have my now cartwheeling moto land right on my back conviced me that the three cracked ribs and partialy detached sternum might have been somewhat more serious had i not been wearing all the gear INCLUDING a back protector ..
will not get onto bike without one

Sown into my race suit, only time I'm on the bike is racing, but I would always have one on anyway, it's only sensible.

I wouldn't ride any bike at all without a back protector, last Feb I had an accident and landed on my back on the kerb - without the back protector it could have been a hell of a lot worse, so back protectors rule I say!! .

dont always use one but not happy when I dont have it on.... definitely use it when racing and being a fool...

also want one for mtb and snowboarding...

Not just a back protector but a sixsixone pressure shirt. I am also fond of bullying newbie riders into buying them.

Yep, always wear my full body armour suit, back, arms, shoulders and chest. Dont feel safe without it. For those who have seen my "unique" riding style would agree that I need one.
